Photoshop troubleshooting, Please help?!

Ok, my gridlines aren't displaying properly and I don't know how to fix them.

They're set at 1px with a subdivision every five lines.
The grid appears fine but when I paint a pixel the gridline is running through the middle.
It may be that the 'canvas' is off kilter but I need to know how to fix it!

I'm pretty sure I've had this problem with guides as well, can't remenber what I changed though... I'll get back to ya when I remember, sorry :aww:
